Community Care Through Partnership

Auxilia Health partners with Angeles Institute an accredited vocational nursing school in Los Angeles to provide accessible, compassionate home care services to individuals and families in underserved and low-income communities. This program is designed to expand access to caregiving while supporting the education and development of future nurses, always with patient safety, dignity, and transparency as our top priorities.

Through this partnership, care is provided by vocational nursing students who are completing their clinical training. These students are not yet licensed, but they work under direct supervision of licensed professionals, including Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). Supervision and guidance are available at every step to ensure safe, ethical, and high-quality care.

Our goal is simple: to meet real community needs while building trust, skills, and long-term health support.

What We Do

At Auxilia Health, our work is guided by four core principles:

Respect. Compassion. Communication. Guidance.

We believe home care works best when it’s built on a genuine partnership between caregivers and clients, one that is tailored to each individual or family’s needs, preferences, and circumstances.

Pricing

We believe people deserve to understand what they’re paying for without confusion or pressure.

Auxilia Health’s home care services are priced to balance accessibility, safety, and quality care. Many services are provided by vocational nursing students who are completing their clinical training through our partnership with Angeles Institute. These students are closely supervised by licensed professionals, including LVNs, RNs, and Nurse Practitioners, to ensure care is appropriate and safe.

Because every person’s situation is different, pricing can vary based on:

  • The type of care needed

  • Length and frequency of visits

  • Level of supervision required

  • Whether skilled nursing services are involved

Before services begin, we provide a written quote and walk through it with you so you know exactly what to expect. There are no surprises, and you’ll always have the opportunity to ask questions or request adjustments.

Our goal is to offer care that is fairly priced, clearly explained, and respectful of real financial constraints, especially for families who may not qualify for traditional home health coverage.

Financial Accessibility & Care Scholarships

Auxilia Health is committed to serving low-income and underserved individuals and families. For this reason, we offer a limited number of Care Support Scholarships and reduced-rate service options based on availability and need.

Scholarship consideration may include:

  • Household income and financial hardship

  • Care needs and urgency

  • Eligibility for community or state-based assistance programs

Our Ally Advocacy team can also help identify additional resources such as IHSS, Regional Center services, CalWORKs, and other support programs that may help offset caregiving costs.

If cost is a concern, we encourage you to reach out. We believe asking for help should feel safe, respectful, and free of judgment.

Clinical Education Partnerships

Auxilia Health partners with healthcare organizations and community-based providers to support structured clinical learning experiences for vocational nursing students enrolled at Angeles Institute, an accredited LVN program.

These partnerships are designed to expand access to meaningful, hands-on clinical education while maintaining patient safety, regulatory compliance, and professional standards of care.

Students participate in clinical rotations as part of their formal education, gaining supervised experience in real-world healthcare settings. All student involvement is carefully coordinated and supported by licensed LVNs, Registered Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners, as well as faculty oversight from Angeles Institute.

How the Partnership Works

Clinical rotations are developed collaboratively to ensure alignment with educational objectives, organizational needs, and regulatory requirements. Auxilia Health assists with:

  • Coordinating vocational nursing student clinical placements

  • Ensuring appropriate scope of practice and supervision

  • Supporting onboarding, orientation, and expectations for clinical sites

  • Promoting ethical, respectful, and patient-centered student engagement

Students are not licensed nurses and do not replace employed staff. Their participation is educational in nature and always occurs under appropriate supervision in accordance with California regulations.

Who This Is For

This partnership model may be a good fit for:

  • Healthcare organizations seeking to support nursing education and workforce development

  • Community-based providers serving underserved or high-need populations

  • Organizations interested in mentorship, teaching, and professional development

  • Clinical environments with licensed staff available to supervise students appropriately

By supporting clinical education, partner organizations help shape the next generation of nurses while strengthening community care capacity.
